Written by | August 31, 2016 | 0

Why Only 14K of Deleted NHIS Registrants Have Reregistered So Far

I don’t particularly care whether 2,000 or 14,000 of the 56,772 de-registered voters who used their recently proscribed NHIS Cards to vote in the 2012 election have reregistered (See “Only 14K Deleted ‘NHIS Voters’ Reregistered – EC” Classfmonline.com / Ghanaweb.com 7/26/16). I couldn’t care less because it is an open secret that the figures released to the Supreme Court by the Electoral Commission (EC) significantly pales in comparison to the reality of the number of voters who registered by the use of their NHIS Cards, documents that lacked authenticity as a reliable proof of one’s citizenship, because the mode of accessibility or issuance of the NHIS Cards was not strictly predicated on one’s Ghanaian identity or citizenship but purely on residence. Then also, the stiff

Bed sores, also known as pressure ulcers, develop when there is too much pressure on the skin. This condition is more common in bedridden patients. These sores not only cause pain and discomfort, but may lead to infections, like meningitis, cellulitis and endocarditis, according to HealthLink BC. The shoulder blades, tailbone, elbows, heels and hips are the most common sites for bed sores because these areas contain little muscle and fat. When the body doesn’t get any movement, it can hinder adequate blood flow to the skin, depriving it of nutrients and oxygen. Change positions frequently When you change positions often, there will be less pressure on your skin, reducing your risk of developing

If You Eat Garlic And Honey On An Empty Stomach For 7 Days, Here’s What Happens To Your Body…

When it comes to cooking, garlic is one of my favourite ingredients. And it’s such a versatile ingredient that it can be used in almost any savoury dish! Roasted with some proteins, stir-fried in some vegetables, blended into a creamy pasta sauce…. the list goes on and on. Personally, I absolutely love the flavour and aroma of garlic so when a recipe calls for two cloves of garlic, I’ll somehow justify to myself that I really should be putting in five or six. And the best part is that I don’t feel too guilty about it because garlic is healthy! Garlic can be used to help lower cholesterol levels and blood pressure, and prevent cancer, heart attacks, coronary heart disease, and atherosclerosis. This superfood can also be used to help treat the common cold, the flu, bug bites, fungal infections,
