31st Night is market day for pastors – Rev. Ansah

The President of Nasem University on Adom FM, Rev. Gabriel Ansah aka ‘Wotee’ has described the annual 31st December night church service as a “market day” for pastors. He says the church leaders target the day for the collection of more offering from people hence the lengths to which they go to advertise their programmes. “31st night is market day for Pastors because it increases offertory for pastors,” he declared on Adom News. Responding to suggestions by some Ghanaians that their sins will be forgiven on 31st night if they confess, Rev Ansah explained that they are jokes. “They are jokers. You can’t wait till 31st (December) to play spiritual gymnastics; prayer does not bring about forgiveness of sins. God looks at a repentant and remorseful heart,” he said. According to

Unravelling The Mystery Behind The Christian Faith

Written by | December 25, 2015 | 0
“I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen: not only because I see it but because by it I see everything else,”according to C. S. Lewis (1898-1963), a prolific Irish author who wrote the book “Mere Christianity” in 1952. Today is December 24, the Christmas Eve! We have barely 8 hours to usher in the Christmas Day – a red-letter day the world over. And as a Christian adherent to the bone, I deem it a divine honour to unravel the mystery behind the Christian Faith. But first of all, the religious brouhaha over the existence of God, where atheists vehemently expound that there is no God, is an acclaimed bigotry. This conflicts with Christianity’s belief that there is God, the Almighty Creator of the whole universe. But the fool says in his heart,

Highlife Can Never Send You To Heaven – Evangelist Papa Shee

Written by | December 2, 2015 | 0
Few weeks ago, pastor cum highlife artiste Ofori Amponsah became talk of the town after he released his new single “Alewa” which features BET Award winner, Sarkodie. Just when everybody thought the issue has gone to sleep for him to have his peace of mind and write more songs, Highlife artiste turned evangelist, Papa Shee has sent him a message from his USA residence. Papa Shee in an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello FM in Kumasi said there is no way a highlife artiste will be in heaven unless the person repents. “You can never defend your sins. You cannot sing highlife and tell me you are singing for God because he gave you the talent. It is God who gives talent but the devil searches for people with such talent and makes them misuse this talent God has given them. The devil makes

“caring” For All Believers!!! Explained

Written by | December 2, 2015 | 0
Go, and do thou likewise. Christ said Who is YOUR Neighbour? He who shows mercy to others; we should show mercy, because Christ teaches us to. Not only to those who love and show kindness to us. But it should also include all who hate us and do wicked things to us. My sincere apology to all the scripture used to start this phase of the sharing is Luke 10: 25-37; and not Luke 20:25-37.Thank you to all who observed the error and especially to all who were boldly able to point it out to me. The error is entirely mine. This shows that people love their God and will help to bring out the truth. Secondary it means lovers of God care. Continuing from my last sharing, I am emphasising on the four gospels to dispel the trivial idea that Jesus Christ is just another messenger or prophet of God. Or whatever

Is That Story of the ‘Homeless’ Pastor You’re Seeing on Facebook Real?

Written by | October 22, 2015 | 0
A supposed faith leader named Pastor Jeremiah Steepek is taking social media by storm. But there’s no definitive proof that the man, who is gaining esteem and praise for supposedly posing as a homeless man before meeting his new church congregation, actually exists in the first place. Despite the uncertainty, Steepek’s story has been shared incessantly on Facebook, message boards and through e-mails, but rumor-dispelling websites have, thus far, concluded that the details surrounding the pastor cannot, at present, be substantiated. If you haven’t heard or read the tale, the story that is circulating claims that the preacher “transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor.” An example text that is posted
