Former Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast Professor Domwin Dabire Kuupole and a Clinical Microbiologist and a Lecturer at the University for Development Studies, Professor Juventus Benongle Ziem, have been honored by the Nandom District Assembly and the Nandom District Directorate of Agriculture, for their immense contribution to Agriculture in the Nandom District of the Upper West Region on the occasion of the 34th Farmers Day Celebration. New Regions Gets GHc20m Each

Each of the six yet-to-be created regions will receive an amount of GHc20 million as seed capital if they sail through successfully in the upcoming referendum slated for December 27, 2018, Minister for Regional Reorganization and Development, Dan Botwe has said. Seven persons (7) have been arrested by the Dodowa Divisional Police Command following a clash between land-guard and land-owner factions in the Shai Osudoku district. “As a result of that attack, some sustained injuries on their head and were bleeding profusely,” the Dodowa Divisional police Crime officer, Superintendent Reuben Dugah, told Citi News.
